He is best known for his extensive work and presence in radio and television through the heart of the 20th century, bringing the gospel to millions of people. He began his media work in 1930 on the radio show, “The Catholic Hour,” and in 1951 started the television series, “Life is Worth Living,” where he spoke weekly on matters of faith to nearly 30 million viewers in the peak years of the broadcast. All of my portraits of saints original drawings were created with black Prismacolor pencils. This media choice was to insure a maximum contrast of black and white rather than the grey of graphite. The benefit is that all of my saint prints are the exact same size and contrast as the original drawing.
